My friend Mark Vargo wants Glenn Brenner's job. Vargo is running for Pennington County States Attorney. Vargo makes me just a little nervous by appearing in a video on Gordon Howie's right-wing Online Potemkin Village Network... but I have faith that Vargo is simply reaching out to all of his neighbors via all available channels. That comment about "get it right from the beginning" is a clear poke at Brenner's failed prosecution of the exonerated but devastated Fish Garbage Services.
Note Vargo's remarkable experience as a prosecutor in Miami and in both the Pennington County States Attorney's office and the U.S. Attorney's office. Vargo knows his stuff.
Unlike Brenner, Vargo likely also understands that getting driving right from the beginning means not fishing around for his cell phone while driving. Doing that gets a guy rear-ended and sent to the hospital, right, Mr. Brenner?
I wonder if Gordon can get Brenner to agree to debate Vargo on his show. Get a real moderator, and publicize it widely. That would be a real service to the Pennington County Community, and a real media coup for Gordo.
Brenner must go. Fish got screwed.
