I don't like calling old ladies liars. But Kristi, putting your grandma on TV to lie for you doesn't change the fact that you and she are lying about President Obama and Medicare:
We're not robbing Medicare or Medicare beneficiaries. Kristi's grandma won't get one penny less of the government support that she and Kristi's whole family depend on.
It's not government-run health care. We'd all be happier, healthier, and richer if it were.
It's bad enough when you, Kristi, our Congresswoman, lie to us about what you're doing and not doing in Washington. But sugaring over your lies with your grandma and her cookies is particularly appalling.

Bill Fleming offers his take on the first take:
youtube views for this new ad 1114. Varilek's new one, 39.
Any way to track how many views Fleming's truthful version will get at the Madville Times?
Rep. Noem called upon to return contributions from convicted felon:

Oh yeah, nice job Bill!
Thanks, Jana. There's a higher rez version on my FB page if you want to pass it around. No credit required. Have at it folks:

Gramma indicates that Kristi comes from a long line of Krazy people. Apparently the whole fam damily is nuts.
Krazi Kristi just got support from the SD Republican Party with a particularly rotten attack on Varilek with a whole lot of unsubstantiated (or undocumented) irrelevant charges of huge tax increases.
Larry, wouldn't you love to know how many of those Noem views came from lonely men?
So now we know what Kristi will look like when she's 90. She's holding up pretty well physically, but her mind won't be working any better than it is now.
How queer, Cory: crossing my twitter feed today was this.
Cognitive dissonance. Complaining about "government-run healthcare" while complaining about money being "robbed" from government-run healthcare.
Rorschach, a case of style over substance?
Production wise, it's a very nice ad.
Rationally, not so much.
Let's not forget that Kristi voted to cut that same amount from Medicare when she voted for the Ryan budget.
But hey, let's not let the facts stand in the way of a good story, right?
Flem, in my day the camera work wouldn't have gotten through the 6pm news without a write up on both engineering and the director. Maybe Booker was running the camera, I don't see him anywhere.
Anyway, the ad will work just fine in SD.
GOP congressmembers give me high blood pressure just like old people.
MEDICARE= GOVERNMENT RAN HEALTH CARE
719 Billion/cuts= same thing Kristi Noem voted for, except her cuts are direct cuts, not insurance subsidies.
Lies piss me off more then people that don't show up to work. And Kristi does them both.
Hasn't Ryan had his mother or grandma appear on stage with him when the speech is pertaining to medicare?
Joan: yes, Ryan has been campaigning with his mom to send the same message: pay no attention to the men behind the curtain; we won't touch your government-run Medicare!
Style over substance: indeed! Kristi and Grandma aren't even thinking about what they are saying. They are miles from recognizing the cognitive dissonance. Someone in the office just had the bright idea to make the Boehner-McConnell lies sound better by having them come out of the mouth of a nice little old lady.
And say, is anyone else bugged by the image of a Congresswoman not able to get a word out and then offered a cookie after keeping quiet? I have a feeling that's how the caucus meetings go for the vaunted Freshman Liaison.
Eventually, we'll get to see how the cookie crumbles...
Mark, Matt should use that line in an ad remixing Kristi's lying videos.
R: even more important than the image of what Kristi will look like in 50 years is the image of what the "Tea" Party looks like right now: old, white, grouchy, and too filled with contradictions to listen to anyone else.
