Stace Nelson Heads to Rapid for Tea Party Rally: Debate with Napoli?

Emerging unscathed from GOP lawyer Joel Arends's overhyped interview with Minnehaha County GOP committeeman Gary Dykstra, State Representative Stace Nelson (R-19/Fulton) is on the campaign trail this weekend. He makes the long trek to Rapid City Saturday to speak at an afternoon "Constitution Rally" in Memorial Park. South Dakota Citizens for Liberty—you know, the local Tea Party—is helping one Jack Heyd organize the event.

I can't find word on whether Bill Napoli will show up to join Rep. Nelson for the first public debate of the 2014 GOP Senate primary. Such a debate would likely be more fun and instructive than the rest of the program. Check out Rep. Elizabeth Marty May's (R-27/Kyle) posting of this program of speakers:

There is a Constitutional Rally at Memorial Park this Saturday, May 4th at the bandshell. Speakers will be Rep. Stacey Nelson, Rep. Lance Russell, Rep. Chip Campbell, Constitutional Instructor Stephanie Strong, and Constitutional Speaker Scott Bartlett from Sioux Falls. Please take the time to come and support the rally and these amazing speakers. Being uniformed these days is a scary thing! I would appreciate you all sharing this with your friends so we have a successful turnout! We look forward to seeing you all there! Together we can make a difference! [Rep. Elizabeth Marty May, Facebook post, 2013.04.30]

Constitutional "Instructor" Stephanie Strong? The same gal who doesn't know the difference between a courtroom and a political soapbox? Uff da. I hope "Constitutional Instructor" is a paying gig... though I pity the fools who would pay her.

If you had the testicular fortitude of Strong and a real desire for the truth, you would raise funds for her right through the supremes Owen. There is hardly anything in the constitution that would agree to the due process she has encountered, whether her actions were the smart thing to do or not.

These are indeed scary days for uniforms.

Stephanie Strong's lawsuit was frivolous from the beginning. She didn't know enough about the law to follow it - any of it. She missed deadlines, and she didn't even show up in court for hearings. She wasted the judge's time and the time and money of everyone else involved with the case. She deserved to get socked with Gosch's attorney fees, and she better do a lot of "constitutional instructing" to come up with $20,000+ to pay them. Strong made a very poor showing for herself in the lawsuit, and also when she failed to get herself on the ballot. There appears to be a severe lack of competence with her.

I was going to say what Rorschach said so I won't repeat it.
It took testicular fortitude? Don't think so Les.

Stace and Russell are ok but the rest of them are not adding anything to this event. In fact they need to seriously step up their game by getting some better people involved in this type of outing. No one wants to hear Stace or Russell on their soap box. This is a small group of frustrated people who love to pander to their crowd.

Stop speaking to the choir and start going around the state.

    Brett, I quote verbatim. :-)

Young Mr. Nelson would be wise not to debate Senator Napoli.
Senator Napoli would be wise not to arm wrestle Mr. Nelson.
Together they would make a good governortorial team.
I hope to be at the park to listen.

I'm no flag waving fan of Strong and what she did or didn't do, but!
    .
For those of you claiming due process in any way shape or form was followed with her case from the beginning to the end, I'd say you need a little review. She had a victory in Lawrence Co but it was decided since it involved Gant it should be in Hughes Co? Frivolous? What part of that is frivolous when Gant has two distinct modi of ops? Gosch then asked to become an intervener which was granted with a pro bono representation by an attorney. Where was the original claim ever decided fellas? And why should it become frivolous with the intervener? That you would judge Strong rather than the justice system which failed her when we all know there was a stink in the house amazes me regardless of her motives.
    .
Please enlighten me with something other than Strong's personal weakness's.
    .
Don't forget our lawyers/courts has skewed our constitution to fit a society run amuck rather than to form a society around the greatest piece of paper to ever guide a nation.

While you're at it Ror, tell us about the missed hearings? And deadlines. And which judge had their time wasted? Ever see an attorney ask for a delay? Ive seen this crap take 2 1/2 years due to experienced attorneys bilking the systm.. You're throwing manure like a bull in spring pasture. Also, her lack of competence, have you been in the arena? Know what it's like when the brights are in your eyes and the money's short and your personal life takes a back seat to what you believe in...? That competence doesn't happen overnight for anyone.

Young Ms. Strong was manipulated by the insaner wing of the conservative waving fringe of the Republican Party. She is clearly in over her head and her immense and fatuous failures show this. There are about 3 or 4 of these insaner members who think they have a huge following. At least 2 or 3 do not.
