On Saturday I broke the story of Rep. Kristi Noem's repeat non-performance as she refuses to face Corinna Robinson in debate at the South Dakota State Fair.
Today, the Democratic challenger offers her response to Noem's chicken act:
I was born and raised here, and what I know is that South Dakota families and voters deserve the opportunity to see the candidates for our only congressional seat in a public forum.... For Kristi Noem to once again make herself unavailable to South Dakotans, the folks signing her paycheck, is inexcusable. Dakotafest still lists our Congresswoman as facing Robinson and the voters on Tuesday, August 19, 10:00 a.m., in Mitchell.

Who thinks Noem will back out of the other debate too?
Until she is actually sitting at the debate table I wouldn't assume she will be there. They come up with last minute excuses for things all the time. And if she only attends scripted debates that don't ask questions she doesn't like is it really a true debate? And the most pressing question, are South Dakota voters even paying attention?
