Campaign Call Center Inspiration: Bush, Cheney, Rounds?

Mike Rounds posts some photos of campaign call center volunteers begging Republicans not to vote their conscience and declare Rounds unfit for office. Among the snaps, we find this image of who inspires Team Rounds:

That's Poppy Bush on the left, George W. on the right, and lurking behind them... isn't that Dick Cheney?

    Or Karl Rove?

It's good to see all the volunteers and supporters. I'm sure Democrats have some pictures of their volunteers but I wouldn't put up a picture of an empty building either.

What is this story that Cory needs to right? Is the story currently upside down? And Cory will... Right it?

    Always fill the frame.

And stay tuned, Tom. I'll have plenty to write tonight and tomorrow (although don't you Republicans ever get sick of schadenfreude?).

Comments like Tom W fill the pages of the Dump Site, no originality abut Tom or Powers.

Roger, I welcome DWC readers to come here and engage in some real conversation. Maybe we could bring them around, not to vote Dem, but just to converse in a civil, substantive fashion and not just call names.

...for instance, Tom could have taken a moment to tell us how he feels about Bush, Bush, and Cheney.

PP beating up on Howie: priceless.

I would like to se him try it in person, Larry. Howie would whip him like a rented mule. LOL.

Ya Tom I'd be proud I voted for at best a someone who is incompetent and at worse somebody who is a crook. Rounds

Agreed Cory, I know that many at DWC come to Madville and read the threads and comments but don't comment here.
I enjoy conversations with the other side, Troy and I have had some serious discussions that I have enjoyed. As you know DWC is littered with TomW comments that add little or nothing to a discussion.

Fox News just called the race for Rounds. And the polls are not closed for another hour?

  16. Roger Cornelius 2014.11.04

Rounds may have won the senate race, but I guarantee you his troubles have just started.

Can Rounds withstand vetting by the senate and the national media?

  17. JeniW 2014.11.04

If Rounds was elected, what a sad day in SD that people voted for the guy who betrayed them more than once! :(

Adults throwing garbage on the floor for someone else to clean up?

    Tacky, tacky, and inconsiderate.

When all polls are closed, I'll analyze the officially released data. For now, anyone making projections is disrepecting and suppressing the vote.

As for me, Rounds has won the popular vote, but lost the confidence of the newspapers and all that will report on him as the EB-5 continues to dog his sorry behind. When this guy goes to Washington, he will be dragging some heavy heavy baggage with him and when his sidekick Joop Bollen comes back, if ever, then there will be more. I will say that keep the popcorn stocked gang, this election is not over tonight, it may take a year or more, but he will not serve his full term.

From Rachel Kevin Drum made a comment last week that struck a chord, noting that Americans seemed inclined to blame Democrats, not Republicans, "for the rising dysfunction of the federal government."
[This] is especially galling for Democrats, but it's a win for Republicans and yet another sign of change in the way Washington is likely to work in the future. Republicans have discovered that a sufficiently united party can obstruct everything and anything but largely escape blame for the resulting gridlock.

This lesson has not been lost on Democrats, and it bodes ill for the future regardless of who wins our next few elections.Maddow(yesterday)-
