Kephart Dings Noem, Thune, et al., Villainizes Taxpaying Illegal Immigrants

Last updated on 2013.07.08

Check it out: Sam Kephart calls Congresswoman Kristi Noem and Senator John Thune fools:

O.K., so he also includes Senator Tim Johnson and the rest of Congress in that blanket insult. Still, the point is made.

But yes, Sam, you did leave someone out: General Electric. Meanwhile, the illegal immigrants you cheaply demonize pay the same sales tax we do. Plus they pay for Social Security and Medicare benefits that our older folks enjoy right now and from which many of them will not benefit. If we kicked out all illegal immigrants, Social Security would see its annual revenues drop by billions. Between that and risking jail and death far from home to subsidize American agriculture with their cheap labor, those illegal immigrants are awfully generous. Mmmm... pass the raspberries.

For more cheap fruits and vegetables, tune in to Sam and his pals on Gordon Howie's Liberty Today YouTube channel.

Related: Meanwhile, President Obama says perhaps 800,000 young illegal immigrants who came to America as children and have kept their noses clean can apply for work permits and stop worrying about deportation. It's not the DREAM Act, but it's a lot like an alternative Republican Florida Senator Marc Rubio was working on.

I think it's pretty funny that they always have the Nancy Pelosi cutout hanging around. Kind of like naughty boys in a treehouse clubhouse with secret pictures of mom, knowing that if she ever caught them she would whip their butts and send them to bed without supper. It's their little courage display that says:

"Yeah, mom's watchin' and we don't care. Neener neener neeee-ner."

    Very sophisticated. Wayne's Worldish.

Is Sam gaining weight or are those extra chins and manboobs part of his sexual reassignment?

  4. larry kurtz 2012.06.15

    er, gender reassignment: my bad....

Way to go liberals, promoting illegal acts in the name of anarchy. And your liberal GOP corporatist cohorts also enjoy the cheap labor.

As it should be. Illegals must follow the laws, and not reap the benefits. They already drive up my costs.

Baseless assertion, Grudz. Follow my links. They keep your costs at the grocery store down. They also pay your Social Security and Medicare.

...and cook your gravytaters. And do the dishes.

I am of the age where I can still wash my own dishes and am still satisfied to eat off paper plates if I'm too tired to wash the gravy from our plates after breakfast, friend Bill.

But as you know I'm also of the age where medical and psychological needs are apt to grow just when my income has gone south like a mexican hair. So the costs and liabilities that the hospitals incur while treating illegal immigrants is not only taking away from what I might need but is raising the costs for all of you young fellows. Other countries forcibly deport, imprison, and generally make the lives miserable of illegal immigrants, while we roll out the red carpet and subsidize their lifestyles, and I for one am not going to stand for it (or sit in my chair on those days I cannot stand.)

And I am due my gravytaters, dammit.

I'd like to see some evidence of other countries doing these things. And I don't mean countries like Mexico or Russia. Give me some Western European or Scandinavian countries that do it. Or Canada.

Also, Grudz, are you aware of what exactly it takes to become a legal resident of the United States? I'll give you a hint. It has less to do with proving you'll be a good citizen, and more to do with paying the government lots of money. People who think that illegal immigrants are these terrible freeloaders who could become citizens if they wanted are horribly mistaken. If a British guy is an illegal, sure, but if a Mexican or Bolivian or Pakistani comes over here illegally, chances are it has more to do with not having $12,000 on hand and less to do with not wanting to pay taxes.

"I’m ... of the age where medical and psychological needs are apt to grow just when my income has gone south like a mexican hair."

I'm getting up there in years, too, but my hairs all seem to be staying right on my head. (Thank my dad, the son of a couple of Italian immigrants -- legal ones, though.)

"Other countries forcibly deport, imprison, and generally make the lives miserable of illegal immigrants..."

Do they? If we did that, what possible good could come out of it? We'd in effect be spending money to make a whole buttload of enemies.

"And I am due my gravytaters, dammit."

Grudz, I know the feeling. But I hope that I make enough money in my old age so that I can still buy my own gravytaters (or hamburger and veggies); then if there are any extras, I'll be happy to share them with people who need them.

So what if, after all the adding and subtracting is done, the ledger comes out a bit negative on my side? If I can live the sort of life I want while my blood flows and my brain cells (all three of them) still function, so what? I can't take any gravy taters (or hamburger or veggies) with me across the Great River ...

Maybe we ought to change the definition of "illegal" in regards to immigrants who are here already, making it easier for them to legally get jobs and not evolve into a massive black market, which they will surely do if we crack down on them.

Rolling out the red carpet, well, we don't necessarily have to go that far. A welcome mat will do. America has always been the beacon of hope for a world that harbors demoons (demon loons) like Assad in Syria, or Kadhafi (he got his, eh!), or regimes like the one that still rules China (and us, arguably), or gangster states like some of the ones in South America (who can't even rule themselves).

I think Obama's recent action in regards to young "illegals" makes pretty good sense.

hopefully this clown will get audited.
