South Dakotans Donate 1.7% of Annette Bosworth’s Q1 Itemized Campaign Funds

The Federal Election Commission posts the latest lengthy list of suckers taken in by illegitimate U.S. Senate candidate Annette Bosworth. To South Dakota's credit, only 12 South Dakotans appear on Bosworth's list of itemized donations for Quarter 1 of 2014:

Twelve South Dakotans gave Bosworth $3,259 during Q1. That's down from 14 South Dakotans giving her $7,410 in Q4 of 2013. A meager 1.7% of Bosworth's Q1 itemized donations came from South Dakota, putting hard lie to her laughable and tired claim of massive grassroots support. If Bosworth had real grassroots support, she wouldn't need Base Connect to exploit proven marks from past nationwide mailing campaigns. She'd have willing volunteers all over South Dakota, not just her brow-beaten relatives and employees, persuading South Dakotans to write big checks.

The South Dakota donation quotient makes clear that the folks closest to the candidates see through Bosworth's medicine show. Without the Base Connect crutch, which requires no political or organizational skill on the candidate's part, Bosworth would have nothing. All it would take to knock that Base Connect crutch out would be for Fox News to give national air to some homegrown South Dakota coverage of the Bosworth sham and Bosworth's own media self-destruction. Come on, Fox! Do it so your impressionable listeners can save their money for real conservative candidates, not the Base Connect profit center and Chad and Annette's Haitian escape fund.

Related: Demonstrating her ineptitude at real fundraising, hubby Chad Haber gets Annette to throw up yet another crowdfunding webpage and then e-mail everyone they can think of to fish for contributions. This effort to avoid the hard work of real retail politics is falling flat like their other online efforts: online for nine days, as of this posting, the Bosworth Fundly site has raised only $770, barely a tenth of a percent of their $750K goal.

    This report says it all. Especially, the man that donated 4 times, never going over $35. To me, this clearly says it is all he could afford. He put his trust and hope into her and gave her anything he could give. This is really sad to me.

    Dave,

    I just read the article on Bosworth's opinion of food stamp recipients calling them wild animals.
    Some of the comments on her Facebook page echoed her sentiments and some supported the good food stamps do.
    Bosworth, and Hickey, have both blocked me from making any comments on their posts.
    I know it is too much to wish for, but I would really like to see this woman make to the general election.

    Thanks, Kathy! When her donors read the liberal outrage over her adoption of another Tea Party meme, they'll see her as a martyr for their preferred beliefs and send her and Chad more money. When they come here and read she's just a simple crook, they won't feel quite so good.

    That same meme has been bandied about by other wingnuts for quite some time. This is another of those wingnut thoughts that are pervasive on the right and gives you an idea what wingnuts think about the least among us. Open your eyes,people. This stuff is out there. These are not nice people!
