Hey! Come have pie with Susan Wismer and Joe Lowe!
The Union County and Lincoln County Democrats are joining forces to serve pie and pointed primary politics this Saturday in Beresford. Our two gubernatorial contenders will sit down with all interested voters at Bridges, 601 South 7th Street in Beresford, starting at 7 p.m.
$10 gets you in the door, gets you pie, and gets you intelligent conversation with Sue, Joe, and a host of other Democratic candidates for local and statewide office. (No word yet on whether the Weiland Family Band will be providing music, but you never know!)
No RSVP needed; just get down there, eat some pie, and pick your next governor! And remember, everyone: this pie is for eating, not for throwing.
I would sure love to have a bunch of free pie and listen to the rants. Will Mr. Lowe and Ms. Wismer be debating each other or talking about which of them would best represent the libbies on the ticket or are they just going to talk about pie and how mean Mr. Rhoden has been in the legislatures?
More important will somebody videotape this and youtube it out?
