Miracle Treat Day for Children’s Miracle Network; Madison DQ Aims for 40,000

It's Miracle Treat Day at Dairy Queens all over the country. That means big doings in Madison, where Dairy Queen owner DeLon Mork will try for the ninth year in a row to lead the nation in Blizzard Sales for the Children's Miracle Network fundraiser. Mork's goal this year is to sell 40,000 Blizzards—this in a county whose population is under 12,000. Reaching that mark would also put the Madison Dairy Queen at a nine-year total of over 200,000 Blizzards sold to benefit the Children's Miracle Network since the annual event began in 2006.

Alas, I'm on the other side of the state, so I'll have to chip in my Blizzard money at the Spearfish DQ. But if you're cruising through Madison, stop by the Dairy Queen and help DeLon and his crew do the good work for Children's Miracle Network into which they are pouring heart and soul for a ninth big year.
