Kightlinger Releases “Dust of War” Trailer

Hat tip to Mr. Coppess at Cinema South Dakota!

On more than one occasion, I've gazed across some frighteningly empty Great Plains vista and thought that, in the right light, our fair state looks like the end of the world.

Filmmaker Andrew Kightlinger agrees. The trailer for his post-apocalyptic movie Dust of War has hit the web. It shows South Dakota gone Mad Max:

Dust of War takes place at least a week after some global cataclysm. I must note that, while there are lots of pretty ladies in South Dakota, I somehow don't think any of them are going to look quite that good after everything falls apart.

As we look forward to Dust of War hitting the theaters, we also learn that Paul Guggenheimer's jump from SDPB to Essential Public Radio in Pittsburgh is just a ruse; he's really going to become a movie star!

Good and evil battling for the last crumbs of a dying world, right here in South Dakota: sounds like a great adventure!

doesn't catch my interest. Seems like these story lines get remade a lot.

Awww, I thought this story was about a snarky response to the ludicrous "environmental" legislation sponsored by Rep. Noem. Anyway, good luck Mr. Kightlinger!!
