Romney Undermines Criticism of Obama Record on Jobs

Is there any argument Republicans can make against President Barack Obama that Mitt Romney himself can't undermine? In June 2006, Romney made the following comments about his own job-producing performance that sound an awful lot like a defense of President Obama's performance in pulling us out of the recessional dive:

You guys are bright enough to look at the numbers. I came in and the jobs had been just falling right off a cliff, I came in and they kept falling for 11 months. And if you are going to suggest to me that somehow the day I got elected, somehow jobs should have immediately turned around, well that would be silly. It takes awhile to get things turned around. We were in a recession, we were losing jobs every month [Mitt Romney, press conference, June 2006, quoted by Alex Seitz-Wald, "When Romney Spun Bad Jobs Numbers," Salon.com, 2012.07.06].

ObamaCare not a tax, Venn diagrams not Venn diagrams... keep up the good work, Mitt! You may be the best hope we have of ensuring Four More Years of good government by Barack Hussein Obama!

For every criticism Willard Romney levels at President Obama there will be a clip of Romney saying something to the contrary. It's kind of funny really.

My favorite was when Romney (with 2 Harvard degrees and 3 sons with Harvard degrees) faulted President Obama (with 1 Harvard degree) for "spending too much time at Harvard."

    Keep 'em coming Willard!
