Five town halls in one week... that may equal the number of town halls she held all last year. Now let's see if Noem thinks she's met her quota for 2013. Let's also see if she can do us a favor and hold some more town halls in the evening and on the weekend when working folks can get out to see them. (Oh, wait, we can reproach....)
Now that Congresswoman Noem is actually putting some open public interaction on the calendar, Pat Powers can raise the town hall flag and ask why Senator Tim Johnson isn't doing the same. I'll nod to Powers's consistent hypocrisy and agree: Senator Johnson, if Kristi can do it, so can you. More public appearances, from the whole lot of you!
Looks like Noem is trying to hit the reset button after a dismal first term filled with a whole lot of nothing. No accomplishments. No showing up for work. No meeting with the public. Maybe she knows people will cut a freshman some slack, but she has to up her game if she wants to avoid a primary in 2014 and a more prominent Democratic opponent. Looking like Snow White and being the snow queen will only get you so far.
As Jonathan Ellis wrote in his column during the election she has ice running through her snow queen veins.
I see zip codes are included so people who can't attend can send a letter! How thoughtful! Keep those cards and letters coming!
at least she anounced it in advance. last time was the night before she had it.
I'll be there in Mitchell.
Thank you for spreading the word!
Owen, I look forward to your report! I wish I could make the Rapid City event!
I'm taking a conservative friend to keep me under control. lol
The man who blogged and campaigned on taxpayer time/dime, for which he lost his job, is complaining someone "plagiarized" him. That's rich.
Congress only works 126 days in 2013, so she has 239 days to have town hall meetings.
Here is the 2013 calendar. http://auburnpub.com/blogs/eye_on_ny/house-majority-leader-eric-cantor-releases-schedule/article_da8a102a-3b1e-11e2-bbd8-001a4bcf887a.html?comment_form=true
Have fun Owen!
So many good questions to ask our part time Representative...but where do you start?
Thanks Jana. should be fun and yes many questions
After you get the canned platitude answer, surprise her with a follow up question that gets to the heart of the issue.
Better make sure you bring a friend to ask the follow-up question!
Owen, when she goes all Keystone II, Here's some things that may come in handy.

Thanks Jana. I'll have 2 questions. ones that she and Thune have never answered. 1) what spending cuts do you want? and what doyou want to replace Obamacare with?
Owen, if you get a third question, ask Noem to explain why she has scaled back her jobs claim for Keystone XL from 130,000 to 20,000.
