Weiland on the Hustings: Seven Towns Next Week

Last updated on 2013.07.29

Rick Weiland is expanding his campaign itinerary across East River... and unlike GOP Senate candidate Annette Bosworth, you don't have to dig through her husband's locked desk to find out when and where you can talk with the Democrat candidate for U.S. Senate.

Team Weiland just posted its next slate of campaign visits on an open online calendar. Next week's seven stops:

  • Tuesday, July 30
  • Thursday, August 1
    • Update 2013.07.29: Make that eight! Hartford at 10:00 a.m.!
    • Salem 1:30 p.m., at The Outskirts
    • Mitchell 4:00 p.m., at The Cornerstone
  • Saturday, August 3
    1. Watertown 10:00 a.m., at Past Times (hey! That's Kristi Noem's mom's old shop!)
    2. Clear Lake 1:00 p.m., at Kathy’s Corner Café

Hey, on that Thursday I-90 itinerary, there might be time to stop at Exit 344 exit for some conspiring with that gentleman farmer from Fulton who could help him take M. Michael Rounds's money out of the race. (Owen! Bring a camera to that meeting!)

Speaking of Rounds, where is he? I guess when you're currying favor with corporate donors, you don't have time to talk to regular South Dakotans on Main Street.

I'd love to introduce Rick to that gentleman farmer from Fulton at Joe's Café. If that would happen I'd bring my camera for sure. lol

Hey Cory, the Clear Lake event is actually scheduled for 1:00 PM, as the restaurant closes at 2:00 that day.

Whoops! I've fixed my Clear Lake time typo. Thanks for the correction, Rick!

Is that Rick Weiland posting, Cory? If so, I didn't recognize him without his typewriter font ;-)

    He's baaaaack.

    How are things going, Bill?

Just dandy, Doug, and with you?

Not too bad for an old non-bachelor Norwegian farmer. Temperatures are low, but I doubt wheat farmers were waiting for wheat to freeze dry. One of these days we will get back to Rapid City where SDSM&T, which makes life hell for imprecise students, could not even keep track of the number of college Presidents they have had...the number exceeded the number of fingers the administrators had on two hands.
