Supposedly, nine days ago, Annette Bosworth mailed her financial disclosure form to the Senate Ethics Committee. She was supposed to do so by August 11, but she begged for a 90-day extension. She didn't file by the new due date of November 9. By Senate rules, she had to file by December 10 or face a $200 fine.
When asked for a copy of the submitted form, just to put the issue to rest, Bosworth consultant Patrick Davis refused to share and told us all to go look on the Senate website.
It's now nine days after Bosworth's supposed submission date. As if this posting, at 10:50 CST, the Senate Public Financial Disclosure database shows no Bosworth documents other than the August 15 letter from chief counsel John C. Sassaman granting the extension.
Keep in mind that if Bosworth does disclose her assets, former employees could use that information to prove to a judge that Bosworth has the resources to pay them the back wages she owes them.
Tick tock, tick tock... that may be the sound of time running out in Bosworth campaign. If we don't see this financial disclosure form soon, it may the signal that Bosworth is finally ready to cut her losses and run.
Update 21:11 CST: In random tweetage, Bosworth tells Duck Dynasty that God has given her the scratch to go to the Philippines:
Yep, she gave away $500,000 of farmland and pumped $30,000 of her own money into the campaign, but claims she's homeless. She can take a family fishing trip to Alaska, but she can't afford to pay her employees or her auto mechanic or the people who bought into her raffle scam. Maybe she just feels like she's above the little people and need not be accountable to them.
This is a double edged sword for her. If her report shows she has assets, her pay stiffed employees and creditors can go after them, AND people will see her whole homeless claims as a big lie. If her report shows all the foreclosures and debt, it will draw attention to her inability to be responsible with her finances.
CAH & Disgusted Dakotan...yes, quite the conundrum for Ms. Bosworth, isn't it? I would suggest that Ms. Bosworth tread carefully. She HAS to be honest about her financial affairs but, maybe she didn't stop to think about how disclosing them could really be a very, very bad thing for her. But, as usual, I still think in her crazy, arrogant mind she thought all those skeletons were not going to start knocking on the door of her closet; that somehow, some way she was above everyone else and her skeletons didn't matter, or she simply doesn't give a rat's a** what anyone thinks. I sure wouldn't want to be in her shoes when she provides her financial disclosure and the SDBMOE or a disgruntled ex-employee's lawyer gets her on the stand and she has to face the fact that SHE supplied the ammunition to commit her own suicide.
Really, Bosworth is of such little significance. (Sorry, Cory)

Rounds is busy recruiting Potemkin candidates to split the anti-Rounds vote into so many slices that he won't have to worry about the only candidate with a chance of beating him in the Republican primary.

In my opinion Stace Nelson is the candidate Rounds is worried about.
In my opinion the only candidate with any viability other than Mr. Rounds is...Mr. Rhoden, who actually has a plan.
Mr. Nelson seems roiled up in his legal issues with robocalls and other devious behaviors, plus he raised the least money of any of them, even young Dr. Bos outraised him.

Rhoden's plan seems to be avoiding any honest discussion of his voting record on illegal immigration, taxes, and term limits.
FWIW - I see Stace Nelson signs popping up on yards and farmyards all over the SE part of the state. No signs of anyone else at all.

I read Dykstra gave different testimony before different juries. Lederman's PAC is broke, it will be amusing to see Willard drag Lederman's butt through appeals, as this SLAPP suit completely backfires.. LOL

Chaos is an apt word here, Lynn. It appears there is no real planning, no long-term strategy at Bosworth-Haber HQ. If you're one month out from the beginning of petition time for a statewide political campaign, if you're having trouble making payroll, and if you're telling people you're homeless, you don't suddenly shift your focus to a medical mission that lies entirely outside your non-profit's previous sphere of operations (Haiti). Annette and Chad just seem to get wild hairs and act on them until they get tired or bored or distracted by the next bright shiny thing.
That may be why we don't see a financial disclosure form yet (checked again just now: nope!). Being a real Senate candidate requires too much planning and work... not to mention consistency under public scrutiny.
*sarcasm* I truly appreciate how she tags @duckdynasty given their recent publicity. I suppose it is ok for her to show support to those who are anti-gay anyone or anything because he quoted his Christian beliefs. DEAR ANNETTE BOSWORTH- you are nowhere near the person you once were. Perhaps take some time to make two lists: one list for those who once supported and defended you but no longer do and the other list can be why. One of those lists will have your husbands name on it and he will be the only one on the list. And to anyone I once defended her to, I apologize.

Correction! Postmarked December 9, exactly 30 days after extension due date of November 9. Senate Ethics financial disclosure rules say penalty applies only if filed more than 30 days late. No penalty!
