More Republicans Endorse Democrat Tornberg over GOP’s Lederman

Democratic candidate for District 16 Senate Ann Tornberg keeps eating incumbent Republican Senator Dan Lederman's lunch. Tornberg posts two more endorsements from local Republicans:

Ladies and gentlemen, old and young—Tornberg's hustling for the bipartisan vote in District 16! Meanwhile, Dan Lederman rips off SDPB's flyover special and puts his base to sleep with this geography lesson about District 16:

"When you first enter District 16 from the south, you know that you are leaving the states of Iowa and Nebraska..."—thank you, Professor Obvious. And the first thing he mentions: warehouses. Warehouses. Yes, warehouses are what make District 16 special.

It's time to put Lederman in storage (in Iowa) and elect Ann Tornberg to really represent District 16 and South Dakota.

I learned something from that Lederman video. I had no idea that District 16 was a "destination of Lewis and Clark." Wonder why they kept going after they found prairie Shangri La? Who needs the Pacific Ocean when they could have stopped and built mansions on District 16 sand dunes and asked Thomas Jefferson to bail them out when they flood. They could have headquartered their bail bond business here to avoid those Iowa taxes and built a warehouse to store all of their profits. If Lewis and Clark had only known what the left coast would become they would have just stopped in District 16 and bided their time and been first in line for the corporate welfare.

Time to flush Lederman out of Pierre. What a hoser.

Was it just me, or did the front end of that Lederman vid feel a little like watching helicopter footage of OJ driving his white Bronco down the LA freeway, only not quite as exciting because... no cop cars?

I was still working back during those slow-speed chase days, Mr. Fleming, and I remember sitting at The Rail during a long lunch watching all the courtroom things on TV. Mr. Lederman is a court guy too, isn't he?

Isn't it about time for PP on the other blog to put in one last shill for his patron, Sen. Lederman? Come on, PP. Get your Lederman pre-election post online.

If I'm SOS Gant, I'm watching very carefully for voter fraud in this District 16 election.

Those NW Iowa fundamentalist GOPers and fan boys of Bachmann, King and Palin are likely to sneak their watermelon size asses across the border and vote illegally. We should special screen them if they have Dutch names and their backs are wet from crossing the Big Sioux River.

Thank you Jana, that is the top laugh of the day!

Lederman is nothing more than a power hungry puppet who spews party platitudes to please the puppeteers at ALEC, Freedom Works and the Koch Brothers.

His PAC is nothing more than a ticket to buying insider loyalty as he works and lives most of his life in Iowa palling around with perennial RWNJ laughingstock, Steve King.

I've heard that if you look up shallow opportunist in the dictionary, his picture comes up.

But on the plus side...Pat Powers is running his campaign...into the ground... judging from the incredibly good and sane people who think, rather than have a party symbol identify who they are.

Pretty sure I heard a Rushmore Pac ad for Larry on the radio this evening. They ran a handful so I could be mistaken.

That was one of the crappiest campaign ads I've seen. It was about nothing. Jeez. What a waste.
