The Madison Dairy Queen has posted its Blizzard sales goal for Miracle Treat Day next Thursday, August 8. They aim to move 32,000 Blizzards to benefit the Children's Miracle Network. As reported here earlier, if they beat that goal, not only do a lot of families with sick kids get some much-needed help, but Governor Dennis Daugaard will go skydiving with Madison DQ owner DeLon Mork:

Dennis is either flashing back to his hippie days... or he's ordering two Blizzards.
By the way, if we had a snappier state flag, it would be easier to use it in a mural like this. Instead, DQ's excellent mural painter had to grant our Governor Captain America status. Get the Governor a sky-blue parachute, and let's eat some Blizzards!
